Tellica Imaging News

Medical Imaging,Injuries,Summer

Summer is a time when people love going outdoors to enjoy the sunny weather, but that also means sustaining more injuries. In some cases, those injuries will re

quire medical imaging for a proper diagnosis.

“In the summer we see a lot of injuries which don’t require an emergency room visit, but people may require an MRI to make sure it’s not something more serious,” said Doug Greally, MD, chief medical officer for Tellica Imaging. “By scheduling at a Tellica clinic instead of a hospital it can save people thousands of dollars and might even be covered by insurance.”

Tellica Imaging is helping bring down costs by having clinics which only offer MRI and CT scans. By not having the overhead of a normal hospital or clinic it allows for costs to stay lower and the savings are passed on to patients.
