Rageh Omaar fell ill live on air last month as he presented News At Ten.

Loose Women's Charlene White has provided viewers with an update on ITV News co-star Rageh Omaar's health after the newsreader fell ill live on air.

Speaking at last night's BAFTA TV Awards last night, fellow ITV News presenter Charlene confirmed that the star is in close contact with bosses at ITV. She also revealed he plans to open up on his traumatising health scare when he's fully recovered. Rageh was reported to have suffered a suspected mini stroke and last month his friends spoke out and revealed he was "up and about at home and doing OK".
