Sky News host chriskkenny says Bill Shorten is ‘underselling the fantastic work of our healthcare system and its workers just to score political points’.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Bill Shorten is ‘underselling the fantastic work of our healthcare system and its workers just to score political points’. In Mr Shorten’s Budget reply on Thursday, the Labor Leader pledged $2.3 billion towards treatment for cancer patients, saying ‘the out-of-pocket costs can be devastating’.

While he said there was always room to improve healthcare, Mr Kenny says there is a string of cancer patients who can testify to having received quality treatment in the public system. Mr Kenny warned the Labor Leader not to ‘unfairly run our health system down for political advantage because it could look cynical’. Image: News Corp Australia

chriskkenny he's a leftie...everything he says is for political millage...

chriskkenny Shorten is playing on emotive fears, the vast majority of people are well looked dyer under the current system for little or no cost. Shorten can’t control the price private providers charge under the current system he needs to stop the BS.

chriskkenny Kenny is right. This is the 2019 version of Shorten's 2016 Mediscare campaign. This foul individual will go to any lengths to get elected.

chriskkenny Always looking for a wedge or an angle of attack, ladies and gentlemen I give Mr Dog Fucker, Chris Kenny.

chriskkenny Shorten is showing the extent of the LNP’s attempts to undermine, cut and reduce our health care system and Medicare. Kenny is attempting to cloud the issue.

chriskkenny As someone who has had a chronic illness that has seen me regularly hospitalised for the last 20+ years. I have seen the decline in services at hospitals. The only people under valuing our health system are those short changing the workers doing remarkable work

chriskkenny You chriskkenny are being pathetic re you comments re Shorten 'underselling' Australia’s healthcare. It’s only your pathetic conservatives who have spent years chopping and changing and messing with the fabric of Australia’s healthcare system underpinned by Medicare auspol

chriskkenny Is there anyone at Sky News that feels any shame? How can any of you honestly think what your organisation does is a good thing? The lies are unending. Give it a rest.

chriskkenny He is deluded. Our health system is under tremendous strain. Why do you give Kenny a platform?

chriskkenny No, he's not. My wife is a healthcare worker, she definitely doesn't feel undersold by Shorten wanting to put back money the Liberals ripped out of the system. She like most of her colleagues does unpaid overtime, is overworked & stressed and can't wait for the support.

chriskkenny Sureeeeeee, whatevs Kenny

chriskkenny Chris Kenny is paid by Murdoch & Singleton to criticise Shorten & ALP, his views are worthless. I wouldn’t watch Kenny if you paid me

chriskkenny Our healthcare system has amazing Drs & nurses. I have fantastic oncologists, surgeons & cancer care nurses. But my out of pocket expenses meant I had to return to work during my treatment. billshortenmp is definitely not underselling our healthcare workers.

chriskkenny You would think this lot would be ashamed to call themselves journalists, but I guess they have to do Rupert and Lachlan biding or they never work again sad really will you think about it

chriskkenny Apart from chriskkenny no one ever said it had to do with the competence of the medicos, it is totally about the financial strain put on so many people. Just stick to the facts Chris, instead of trying to make the story!

chriskkenny this nutter been hitting the kool aid again or has he been on the wacky weed again as that could account why he's a dead set braid dead nutter

chriskkenny Jesus who writes this shit ?

chriskkenny Shorten is a disaster. Arrogant wicked. Far left.

chriskkenny Chris Kenny has never said one good word about Labor in his life so put it in perspective people... If Bill Shorten awarded all Journo's a 1000% pay increase today. Chris Kenny would still say it was a con or lie or not enough or something. Chris is not a Journo's rear end.

chriskkenny Its nothing to do with medicos ability. Its all about people having to go broke to stay alive. Which is not on.

chriskkenny Career partisan hack has a moan about 'political points' Are we at peak Kenny yet?
