This has to be a good thing and hopefully it will not result in a rise in non-evidential antidepressant prescribing. Parents/carers should consider also that, if they have money and can do the necessary checks, there are private psychologists out there if nothing comes from NHS.

A critique of govt's mental healthcare achievements (or rather, lack of) would be a welcome read. Reporting press releases without proper scrutiny or any criticism of the previous policies that put us here is pointless and misleading. Tories make life horrendous for many. GTTO

How many announcements have we heard on mental health from government? I’ve lost count and nothing seems to be getting any better for those in crisis or those picking up the pieces of an underfunded NHS.

I read this as mental health care to get waiting times under 10 years. Prove me wrong.
