Arrived this morning in Calais for NHS treatment. That’s right. NHS treatment in France. Another great EU benefit about to be sacrificed on the brexit altar by the High Priestess theresa_may 4 week referral here minimum 28 weeks at home.

Everyone knows the answer is no. All the stats back this up. Skilled staff are leaving too. Every one says what a brilliant job nurses do in the UK but we don’t really value them ☹️

Not enough staff not enough money Tories still in blatant lies mode.

nhsemployers apparently we are over subscribing to training places 🤔 in preparation, however it takes years of experience to deliver the kind service this plan hopes to achieve safely. Small matter of election to get through 😄

Which one is this?

I think we all know that if we send every penny of taxation to the NHS it would never be enough. Planning, control of procurement, and stop ‘free for all, all the time, for all ailments’ attitude might be a start!

No

Headline should read : NHS England long-term plan: Are there enough staff to make it happen? sayEngland

No

No! Bring back the bursary and free training. Why would anyone what to train as a nurse and start on £11.20 an hour with 50 grand of debt!

No. It’s called monopsony in Economics.

And does this NHS plan for training of British school leavers instead of them having to get a degree first which is absolutely ridiculous if you want to be a nurse.

No.

Need more doctors and nurses, less bean counters and box tickers

They solved hospital overcrowding with the car park charge. Stopped me anyway

Brilliant the bbc interview the very people who are putting the strain on the nhs

No. There’s not enough staff now

T May said NHS staff new training centers will realise an increase in nursing? Well, my daughter - Auxiliary Nurse, is being trained up to be a SRN nurse, as is many other Auxilary staff. This means that Nursing figures will rise as she say's, but overall staffing levels won't

No

As a current AE nurse let me give you the short answer... NO

The NHS paid £65bn in claims against it last year. The NHS headcount is 1.2m, of which 200,000 work part-time. There is a lot that can be done to make the NHS a better health service but throwing more money down the bedpan isn't one of them.

If hospitals get rid of all the malingerers then yes. If hospitals stop treating fatties, druggies, smokers and drunks then yes.

no

A lot more focus needs to be put on prevention. People should lead healthier/less risky lives & take more personal responsibility. Also charge people who waste time /resources in A&E. NHS

Self inflicted injuries should be chargeable. Sunburn, fighting, doing stupid things.

Of course there wont be enough staff

Maybe there needs to be a bigger emphasis on apprenticeships?

Nowhere near, feel free to come down and have a look, any hospital, anywhere!!

Not for all the scrounges who flock here to abuse the system!

How about getting all the MP's who are doctors to get off the backsides and do the job they were trained to do.

In a word.... No.

Why no report on this fakenews

Only problems are law an order ! Treating to many speeding drivers involved in accidents.drunks.drugs.stabbings. Sort out this first and the NHS will save millions

The BBC stirring up trouble as usual.

SOME PEOPLE THINK THE NHS WORKFORCE SHOULD BE PUT AGAINST THE WALL AND SHOT,BUT WHY SUCH HATRED

No

No
