Why should we the taxpayer pay for such behaviours. NHS is already stretched. The irresponsible individual should be made to pay 4xthe cost of treating them. This will soon change their habits

Nanny society gone mad, how about charging people for alcohol related medical treatment. As long as there is no financial consequence for this behaviour then it will continue.

Wrong, wrong, wrong!! If these morons have got the money to pay for getting drunk then they should pay for the consequences!🤔😡

They get themselves into that state...leave them in the gutter!!!

No, if you are going to get stupefied with drink then you pay, not the NHS!

Should be the pubs and clubs, then once you get the details of the piss heads then charge them .

Why ?

Will they have a bar in? How are you supposed to get drunk without one!

Delete NHS: Insert Tax Payers. Heres a novel idea, how about billing those drunks who require the NHS?

Why ?

If they had these in New York people would get drunk just for a place to sleep

Hotel California the eagles more like and pogue ma hone, kiss my ass in Gaelic, from the NHS. Bout time these people are mashing the place to bits.

If the drunken people can afford to get drunk then they should pay for the extra services because the Police and NHS will probably both be involved.

You mean the taxpayers.

🎵 It wuzz Christmas Eve, babe......

Here's a novel thought make the drunks pay instead

How about charging the drinks for their stay
