You know which LTC homes have no wait lists, the horrible ones. If this was in place last year, my mother would have been sent to a home where 68 people died. I know firsthand the pressure put by some in hospitals to get rid of vulnerable patients.

Covering exam fees for internationally trained nurses, but not locally trained ones. If trained in Nova scotia you have to pay to take the exam in Ontario. Why don't they remove the fee for everyone, regardless of training location? Why does our gov't hate us?
