Victoria’s health system is an ‘absolute disaster zone’

The Age is reporting the ADF have been called in to help prevent Victoria’s health system from being overwhelmed by a surge in COVID-19 cases.

Mr Hayes pointed out Western Australia and Queensland’s health systems are also struggling despite the fact they are not being swamped with high COVID numbers. “But ambulances in Victoria, I swear, if you’re bringing in the ADF to do anything that is a complete and utter tipping point,” he said. “We shouldn’t be there, we should have a better health system, and particularly for Victorians they should be asking that of their Premier – why don’t we have that?”
