KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Some of the 30 new clusters reported on Friday (July 23) have stemmed from the actions of several individuals who travelled across states, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

KUALA LUMPUR : Some of the 30 new clusters reported on Friday have stemmed from the actions of several individuals who travelled across states, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham AbdullahHe said among the new community clusters detected included the Jalan Bestari Yayasan cluster, of which the index case is a 53-year-old local woman with a history of traveling from Selangor to Johor on July 9 to attend a funeral.

"Another community cluster that involved a funeral is the Kerilla cluster, of which the index case is a 38-year-old local man who travelled from Klang, Selangor to Tanah Merah in Kelantan on July 11. Dr Noor Hisham said the actions of a 15-year-old boy who travelled from Kelantan to Selangor and Johor from July 10 to July 15 also triggered a community cluster, namely the Kampung Baru Bukit Kecil Labok cluster in Machang, Kelantan.
