Frontline health care workers are being urged to remain vigilant after two coronavirus outbreaks were linked to medical workers at the facilities.

The outbreaks in north-west Tasmania and a Western Sydney nursing home are responsible for four deaths and more than 100 cases of the virus.

If they gave us appropriate ppe and we treated every patient as CV19 positive until proven otherwise, this would not be happening. Some patients are lying about their symptoms so they don't get quarantined and exposing staff. Bit sick of the blame falling on healthcare workers
