Deputy chief medical officer Nick Coatsworth believes it is "too early" to be talking about relaxing current strict social distancing measures.
Dr Coatsworth also said there would be "no single tell-tale indicator" that would give experts an indication that it was time to relax the restrictions. Deputy chief medical officer Nick Coatsworth believes every case where a healthcare worker has contracted COVID-19 from their patient needs to be "formally investigated".
"We are concerned about every single case of COVID-19 and every single case needs to be investigated thoroughly, but in particular, those amongst healthcare workers need to be formally investigated," Dr Coatsworth said. "We need to understand how precisely the healthcare worker acquired that infection."
