In the Saturday post that has been shared over 8,000 times, the patient's sister, Nur Sheila Abdullah, said she was told that her sister had to be at the EPF office in person for a thumbprint scan before she could withdraw the balance from her EPF account.
In her post, Nur Sheila detailed how she had gotten an ambulance and stretcher to help transport her sister to the EPF office. "Only after my sister had her paperwork sorted, we found out that it was not necessary for her to come in after all," she said in the post."Your process needs to be aligned at every branches. Have a separate SOP for disable, old and critically sick. You are keeping people's hard-earned monies," AnGie Chin-Tan commented.
The so called 'pegawai' need to make a public apology
EPF needs to remember the money in EPF doesn’t belong to EPF
A total disgrace to the nation. Something like this should not have happened ever..
When we make EPF a mandatory..
Good to know this。 EPF should make the withdraw procedures more flexible.
So sad, this keep on happening. EPF Mgt should share the reason why they refuse to visit the customer (bedridden). .. At least we know the main reason. We proud EPF had done my good jobs also.
KWSP must reimburse the patient for all the expenses incurred in going to the office to make the withdrawal. It was their fault that the family had to send her there for the transaction. What misunderstanding is KWSP talking about?
There should be an option where EPF can verify by going to the sick patient who can get doctor's letter stating that patient is bedridden. Really, this must be seriously looked into. Imagine the anguish of the family of this EPF member... 😟
While throwing brickbats at KWSPMalaysia we should not forget that there are individuals out to make fraudulent claims. The latter probably made KWSPMalaysia behave in this manner
Why is everyone so surprised? It’s been like that all this while, nothing has changed, let’s echo “Malaysia Boleh”
Crazy!
The problem will keep on happening and nobody will be punished. Express buses will keep on $%& with unecessary deaths, water will keep on be contaminiated. We suffer while they keep on receiving their big fat salaries
Nak amik duit sendiri macam2 prosedur kena buat. Tapi bila gomen nak keluarkan dengan satu tandatangan(yang lepas tu org tu tak mengaku) dah boleh keluarkan duit tu utk tujuan bayar hutang negara
This is not the only incident that has to be taken into consideration by the government authorities. Most of the gov agencies does not give a damn even to OKU's.
This is so stupid! So sad seeing this kind of thing happen here in malaysia. New gov new rule i guess
Lurus tak bertempat. Ada peraturan khas utk kes sedemikian.
PH is always the best! chedetofficial NajibRazak kerajaansepenggal
EPF nak ambik duit sendiri mcm nk pergi berperang.
Utter disgrace that EPF behaved in this manner
Bodoh dan tak berperikemanusian nya pegawai KWSPMalaysia yang terlibat. Padahal nak keluarkan duit sendiri, bukannya nak mohon duit ihsan KWSP.
An officer could’ve been authorize to go over to their house to do the signing of document
Humanity have lost it’s presence in this community.
It’s never OK for such incident and I’m sure it’s an isolated case. KWSPMalaysia wouldn’t be that dumb. I suspect an untrained staff. But yes it’s unfortunate the lady had to endure this. And EPF has already apologize for it. Let’s make sure it never happen again. AlizakriAlias
Why can the officials go to see him
Someone with mental block is being placed there!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
What a bad service! KWSPMalaysia
KWSPMalaysia drwanazizah EPF pls look at this !
KWSPMalaysia chedetofficial wowww
Easy to put money In. Difficult to take money out
Gaji tak cukup. Kasi naik gaji. Bonus kasi tambah.
In cases like this one, perhaps the EPF sent a senior officer to the home of the bedridden patient to verify any documents.
Sad that we are on the verge of the year 2000 freakin 20 and common sense is still uncommon
No. 1 service mynameisgluk. 👏
