SHAH ALAM (Bernama): Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) will seal off all manholes near its treatment plant in Bandar Bukit Mahkota, Cheras near here to prevent illegal waste disposal from occurring again in future.

State Environment, Green Technology, Science, Technology and Innovation and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman, Hee Loy Sian noted that through a discussion, IWK had agreed to permanently close all 20 manholes in the area.

Hee added that the Bandar Putera Mahkota Sewage Water Treatment Plant was a neglected area but had a complete sewerage system and infrastructure.

Charge Indah water with a hefty fine since they are so good in collecting their dues from the rakyat!!

Din we learn anything from num erous previous contamination incidents? Were all the findings, correction items and recommendations closed? Looks like we have a first class facility managed by 3rd world mentality. The Rakyat is just exasperated with such pathetic attitude
