JOHOR BARU: One of the founders of Johor Society for Performing Arts (JSPA), Suzie Yap (pic), passed away after a short battle with cancer.

Yap’s wake will be held at her home at 84, Jalan Wijaya in Taman Century here until Monday.

She said Yap and her husband had been strong advocates of organising events and performances, especially for the Johor Arts Festival which has been held 15 times.
