JOHOR BARU: Talk is rife that more than a dozen children have sought treatment for vomiting and breathing difficulties since schools opened in Pasir Gudang on Monday (July 1) morning.

At press time, no official confirmation has been released about the condition of the students, or the numbers of those affected.However, after some rest, 101 were sent to nearby health clinics and only 10 were sent to hospital.

Dozens of students and some adults have fallen ill after a new wave of chemical pollution hit the area since June 20.
