A 17-year-old schoolgirl is the only patient still being treated in hospital because of air pollution in Pasir Gudang.

Johor executive councillor Mohd Khuzzan Abu Bakar said safety and prevention briefings will be held at school assemblies tomorrow morning. Mohd Khuzzan said three colleges, 347 private kindergartens and 14 private and international schools would also reopen.He said the Enviornment Department had checked 72 industrial premises in Pasir Gudang and taken action against the parties in accordance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
