Marriott's CEO has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He'll begin chemotherapy next week.

Marriott International Inc. said Friday Chief Executive Arne Sorenson has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and will undergo chemotherapy. The Bethesda, Md., company said the 60-year-old CEO was diagnosed Wednesday with stage 2 pancreatic cancer by a medical team at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Mr. Sorenson will remain in his role while undergoing treatment, Marriott said.

It is a shame. He should get his affairs in order. He has a 1 in 4 chance of being alive in 12 months. All his money will not buy one minute more. Hopefully he will not allow the medical community to use him as a lab rat. He has a lot of money to follow false hope. My Opinion
