KENDALL COUNTY, TEXAS - We've been following fire prevention efforts in Kendall County for over a year. Now, residents are creating a first in the state fire safety council.
"We want to increase awareness, increase the education of the public to what their role is," says Wiley. It is the very first fire safety council in Texas, receiving its state certificate of formation at the end of June. The group hopes to grow both in numbers, as well as community outreach.
