Heart, the classic rock band led by Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, had announced a "Royal Flush Tour" in 2024 that included a stop in Alabama., 74, a founding member of the classic rock band, released a statement on Tuesday via Heart’s publicist, saying she had a successful surgery but will undergo chemotherapy and is taking the rest of the year off to recover. No other details were available, and Wilson’s statement said she wouldn’t elaborate on her heath issues in a public way.
“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025. My team is getting those details sorted & we’ll let you know the plan as soon as we can.Heart’s publicist also said dates on the band’s “Royal Flush” tour would be rescheduled, and a press release encouraged fans to hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled dates. “More information to be announced in the coming weeks,” the release said.
