“Following a dynamic risk assessment of the cholera epidemiological situation that placed the country at a very high risk of increased cholera transmission, the NCDC took this step to coordinate the response to the outbreak, saying that as of June 24, 2024, a total of 1,528 suspected cases have been reported.
