Opposition Leader Bill Shorten is set to extend his $2.3 billion cancer care package by pledging to fund $200 million worth of free blood tests for cancer patients and older Australians.

The Australian reports the Party will promise $3 million free pathology tests for cancer patients a year and $20 million for older Australians. It comes after the Coalition claimed Labor had under-costed its cancer plan by $5.8 billion.
