Tributes have been paid to Tia Taggart who died surrounded by her family after a brave battle with an aggressive form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma

A courageous little girl whose brave battle against cancer touched the hearts of people all around the world has died.Tia had recently celebrated her 10th birthday when her wish to receive as many cards as possible came true.Leading the tributes to Tia were her school, St John the Baptist RC Primary in Padiham, Lancashire, which tweeted: "Our beautiful Tia passed away peacefully this morning.
