The Government is promising more than $700 million for youth mental health, but how bad is the situation really?

Courses such as those organised by youth mental health organisation, Headspace, are run at schools and the introduction of a wellbeing coordinator provided additional support for youth.

Dr Manocha did not deny this, but said the fact that so many resources were being thrown at the situation was part of the problem. "Rather than parking the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff … we need to have a much greater emphasis on preventing these problems from occurring at all."Mr Garrett said the game had changed dramatically in terms of youth support services.

With her time at school drawing to a close, Tori has felt the pressures of a school leaver, but said she had strategies available to help.

My kids are fine, they don't give a crap about the opinions of fear mongers so can't have their sense of purpose undermined. The Irony is that this will enable them to better solve any real problems the future holds for them as their development has not been deformed by fear.

Society are pressuring woman to compete in areas where they are not comfortable. What did you expect would happen? Social media = mental health issues for a lot of people. We used to live our lives without be judged on every little thing we did, now most people can’t even eat a meal without saying “look at me” and then stressing over what their “friends” think of them “Alarmingly, the single largest group who made claims were women aged 30 to 39 living in metropolitan areas” Could this be related to the feminist lie that women can have it all, a career & children. Then find out it’s too difficult.
