Grammy-winning saxophonist David Sanborn has passed away following a battle with prostate cancer. He was 78.

"Mr. Sanborn had been dealing with prostate cancer since 2018 but had been able to maintain his normal schedule of concerts until just recently. Indeed, he already has concerts scheduled for 2025. David played music at a young age. According to dailymail.co.uk, David played music at a young age. By the age of 14, he performed with Albert King and Little Milton.
