Nigerian Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA), University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) branch, has dissociated from the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in the university, stressing that NAMDA is not part of the strike.

In the statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Prof Kolawole Olorunshola, and Secretary, Dr Jonah Peter, the union noted its resolve not to be part of the ongoing strike by ASUU members in the university. It stated, “Condition of Service: The branch demands the immediate payment of the outstanding Earned Academic Allowance , totalling N178,705,735.91.
