Some doctors are warning Labor's $2.3 billion cancer treatment plan will fail to eliminate out-of-pocket costs for many private patients.

Some doctors are warning Labor's $2.3 billion cancer treatment plan will fail to eliminate out-of-pocket costs for many private patients.

The Australian reports that some leading oncologists have called the package 'unachievable', as they cannot guarantee they will be able to bulk-bill their services. A Labor spokesperson responded to the concerns, saying the opposition did not expect oncologists to guarantee they would bulk-bill and medical practitioners had been consulted on the policy prior to it being announced.

billshortenmp Another bit of Bill Shorten bullshit. There are no waiting lists for cancer treatment. Cancer treatment is time dependent and you will get treatment ASAP.
