She was devastated Carla Connor was left in tears at the end of Monday’s episode of Coronation Street as Roy Cropper told her their friendship is over. Recently in the ITV soap, Carla was dragged into a plan by her nephew Bobby , who wanted to do something to try and get Roy off the hook. It involved Bobby telling DS Swain that he had seen a man in Lauren Bolton’s flat around the time of her disappearance – even though that wasn’t true.
Shortly after, Carla and Nina Lucas arrived to see Roy, but Carla was given some news when the prison officer outside informed her that Roy had removed her name from the visitor list. When DS Swain entered the ward room to see Roy, she set up her recording device, curious as to what he wanted to tell her. Roy’s stresses got the better of him Just as Roy prepared himself, he spotted Carla glancing through the window.
