Thank goodness for Mary! Disaster strikes for Roy Cropper this week in Coronation Street but thankfully, Mary Taylor is on hand to help. Beloved character Roy is currently behind bars for Lauren Bolton’s murder. We know Roy didn’t commit the crime, but he remains one of the main suspects due to his past and how he spent a great deal of time helping Lauren out before she vanished. In upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Roy calls the cafe hoping to speak with Nina .
Later on, when Nina arrives to visit Roy, she grows concerned when time ticks by and he still doesn’t show. After Nina expresses her worries, a prison officer lets himself into Roy’s cell, only to find him collapsed and on the floor. In the week, Mary visits a desolate Roy in hospital. When Roy reveals that he keeps trying to remember the details of an important conversation between Max and Lauren, Mary urges him not to give up because it will probably come to him eventually.
