A Dunblane woman is gearing up to take on this weekend’s Kiltwalk for Beatson Cancer Charity.

Eilidh Wynd will head to Glasgow for the event to raise vital funds after the Beatson unit saved her mum’s life during the Covid pandemic.

As you can imagine, this is hard at the best of times, but throw in a global pandemic where we can’t be supported by family and friends visiting us, it was a real struggle.

Walkers have a choice of taking part in either the Mighty Stride , the Big Stroll or the Wee Wander . This year the oldest Kiltwalker for Beatson Cancer Charity is 95-years-old, while the youngest is just aged five.
