Police were called to the YMCA on North Road, St Helens yesterday, April 9, at 4.30pm to reports a man in his 40s requiring medical assistance. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The man's next of kin have been notified and are being supported by officers. Forensic and witness enquiries are ongoing.
