The Princess of Wales stayed at The London Clinic for just shy of two weeks A worker at the private hospital where Kate Middleton was treated tried to access the Princess of Wales’ medical files, it has been alleged. The London Clinic in Marylebone is an elite private hospital that has long discretely treated royals, celebrities and top politicians including John F Kennedy. So it was no surprise that the Princess of Wales checked into the facility in January for planned abdominal surgery.
The London clinic declined to comment on the claims but told the Mirror: ‘We firmly believe that all our patients, no matter their status, deserve total privacy and confidentiality regarding their medical information.’ Kensington Palace said the incident is an internal matter for the London Clinic. Palace officials revealed Kate had been admitted to the London Clinic on January 17. Few details were given, other than that the surgery had been successful and her condition was ‘not cancerous’.
