Jamie Foxx was spotted entering a hospital with two large pink bags filled with gifts just months after his personal medical emergency.
He said he was 'near-death' and in 'dire straits' and in December he admitted that he 'saw the tunnel but not the light' as he battled to survive – but has never revealed what caused his illness. 'I’m so thankful and I get emotional because it’s beyond the scope. I had some people in my life that really made sure I was here because it was dire straits,' he said per People.
The actor was visibly moved as he accepted the Vanguard Award in a 12 minute speech at the association's Celebration of Cinema & Television: Honoring Black, Latino and AAPI Achievements in Los Angeles.
