Individuals with experience in cardiac physiology are also strongly encouraged to apply. The main responsibilities of this position will be to develop, design, and conduct experiments related to the mission of the lab, collect and analyze data, and assist in the preparation of research manuscripts and presentations for publication and conferences.
Further responsibilities will include training of laboratory professionals and students, development, and revision of existing research methodologies, and critical analyses of relevant literature. The candidate will also be responsible for the general maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, as well as troubleshooting instruments and protocols as necessary. Attention to detail and strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills are a must.
