Our translational research focuses on drug target discovery and novel therapy development to treat ocular vascular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, wet age-related macular degeneration and retinopathy of prematurity.Performs experiments involving molecular biology, phage display, cell biology, protein expression and purification, protein-protein interaction, immunohistochemistry and in vivo gene therapy.
It is preferred that candidates demonstrate scientific productivity with peer-reviewed publications and strong commitment to scientific research. Recipients of recent PhD or MD degree are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience in molecular biology, cell biology, protein biochemistry and/or gene therapy are strongly encouraged to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
