A Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) team leapt into action after a local woman fell while hiking on Table Mountain. The woman was saved by her safety rope and was later brought to safety by a large technical WSAR team. She was taken to a nearby hospital for medical assistance.

A Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) team leapt into action after a local woman fell while hiking on Table Mountain on Monday evening. According to WSAR’s report, the 37-year-old woman fell above the Africa Crag route but was saved by her safety rope. A large technical WSAR team reached the top of Table Mountain via the cableway, where they managed to haul the woman to safety using rescue ropes.

Shortly before midnight, she was brought to safety and taken to a nearby hospital for medical assistance
