The Notorious gave fans an update on his health before confirming that an April return is in the works.

Conor McGregor has confirmed that he is targeting April for his UFC return while revealing that he would be keen on fighting in Saudi Arabia in the future.

The Irishman recently returned to the USADA drug testing pool after a two-year absence following a broken leg injury suffered in his most recent fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021. McGregor assured fans that he is "In a great place" and that his body is "fully healed" before speaking about his long-awaited comeback in 2024.

"Hopefully April, they're saying April," McGregor told TNT Sports ahead of Tyson Fury's clash with Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. "I'm happy. I would've loved December, I would've loved it earlier, I would've dialed in earlier, but I want to be honest - not just to myself but to my fans and whatnot. While speaking about his long lay-off, McGregor acknowledged his frustration at being unable to compete and stated that he had been "prevented" from doing what he loved for the past two years.
