Navin Chowdhry, known for his role of Nish Panesar in BBC's EastEnders, posted a lovely celebration on Instagram to mark the end of his wife Charlie's chemo journey

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and EastEnders star Navin Chowdhry, known for his role of Nish Panesar, has celebrated his wife's very important milestone to mark the occasion.

Sharing a post of a mug with the phrase ‘Straight Outta Chemo’ – a reference to 2015 film Straight Outta Compton – the 52-year-old said: "2 years ago. Mrs C lifted the cup! All my love to all the cancer warriors out there." The post was soon flooded with support, with Navin’s co-star, Theo Hawthorne actor William Ellis, writing: "Love and light to you and the family."Navin had been documenting Charlie's breast cancer fight after she was diagnosed in the summer of 2020.

He continued: "My wife was diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer back in the summer of 2020 and like so many of you out there it just opens a world that you hope you never see.Celebrating one of their anniversaries in 2021, Navin wrote a sweet post, which said: "To my wife - the strongest, bravest, loudest woman I have ever met and the most positive light in my life - I love you.
