Focusing on prevention, identification, rescue and recovery, the scheme will start at a grass-roots level and will involve educating school children on how not to become perpetrators or victims of domestic abuse.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is set to unveil a $328 million plan to tackle domestic abuse, marking the biggest ever financial commitment to combat the national issue. The plan comes as Opposition leader Bill Shorten announces a $60 million four-year plan for 20,000 Flexible Support Packages that will go to rent, medication, transport and home security for survivors.

With eight women sent to hospital each day because of domestic abuse and, on average, one woman murdered each week by her current or former partner, the Prime Minister says Australia needs to counter its culture of disrespect towards women. yeah right, let's tell little boys they'll be violent to women and shame them. then let's prepare little girl to join the victimhood. guess what. this will be a giant failure and a complete waste taxpayers money, and will increase domestic abuse.

It’s crazy how many women are assaulting their partners these days, mentally and physically. It needs to stop, they need to woman-up!

Surely everyone will see this as a good thing, right?
