Strictly Come Dancing kicked off its launch show on Saturday as 15 celebrities took to the dancefloor and we finally met their professional partners who will be guiding them through each week.
Hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly introduced a sweet tribute to BBC dancing professional Amy Dowden who was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer earlier this year - as judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse took to the iconic dancefloor. "Amy from your Strictly family we are sending love and we can't wait to have you back on the dancefloor," host Claudia said as Tess shared love to their "Welsh Dragon" watching at home who is currently battling the side affects of her chemotherapy.
The star admitted to struggling with hair loss and said she gets her husband Ben Jones to brush her hair so she can distance herself from the awareness of how much hair she is losing.The group number saw judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke perform along with the professionals to a medley of songs including Afraid To Feel from LF System, Kylie’s Padam Padam and Higher from Michael Buble.
