Strictly's Amy Dowden says 'that's it' as she shares update

Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has reached the halfway mark in her chemotherapy treatment and said 'that's it'. The Strictly pro dancer has been keeping fans updated after her breast cancer diagnosis.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday , Amy shared a selfie showing her holding up four fingers to the camera. "Chemo number 4!" she typed alongside the image before adding: "Halfway mark."Amy then shared another update on Friday morning to let her followers know how she was getting on. The Welsh dancer posted a picture of her hand holding up four fingers again, but this time outside the hospital.

She then shared a picture taken during her treatment as the chemo was pumped into her body. "But that's it for Red Devil," she typed, using the nickname for the chemotherapy drug. "Happy Birthday @dowdengillian," she shared as she posted two different pictures of herself and her mum. In a follow-up post, she shared a picture of herself with both he mum and dad during what appeared to be a previous Strictly launch. "Thank you for everything you do for me," Amy said. "Even spending your day looking after me!"
