Sen. Ron Johnson has asked the Department of Health and Human Services’ inspector general to probe whether federal government scientists mishandled and concealed records about COVID-19 and other matters from the public.
Johnson, 68, wrote a letter this week to HHS watchdog Christi Grimm requesting an investigation of alleged concealment and destruction of records at the National Institutes of Health stretching back to 2014.
