THE Department of Health (DoH) on Tuesday assured benefits due healthcare workers, especially nurses, will be given to retain their services locally. READ HERE:

In a briefing in Malacañang, Health Secretary Ted Herbosa said this specifically pertains to medical workers who have yet to receive their emergency allowance for their services rendered at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.'The report to me is most of the benefits have already been given out.

Those who have not received [it] have technical issues. And I was told most of them are from private hospitals. For government , that has been given out,' he said.'If nurses need to be paid, they should be paid. I don't want them to leave the Philippines,' he added while also clarifying that delay in the distribution is due to 'technical issues' and not the unavailability of funds.
