The mouse was filmed scurrying between tables

A video has emerged showing a mouse scurrying around a Glasgow music venue before it was ordered to close after an environmental health visit.

Venue bosses were told to shut down on Tuesday after inspectors found inadequate pest control procedures and "mouse droppings" throughout the food premises. According to the Daily Record, Glasgow City Council environmental health inspectors issued a remedial action notice after receiving a hygiene complaint.

It comes after a trade union claims 95 per cent of staff filed a collective grievance with 13th Note bosses over several allegations, including mice infestation. Unite Hospitality further accused owners of ignoring concerns over sanitation, health and safety and staff contracts in March.Last week, kitchen staff walked out amid fears they could be injured at work by faulty equipment.
