The post-incident analysis report was created by the Allen Fire Department Fire Marshal’s office. It is a compilation and summary of dispatch notes and events, vehicle GPS data, radio traffic and interviews with first responders.
The department also made it clear the report does not include “other details” related to the ongoing investigation into the shooting being led by the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Rangers.Before the report was released, officials had said an Allen police officer was already at the mall responding to an unrelated call. The report confirms that with the first 911 call being documented at 3:36 p.m.
Multiple notes about victims were added to the dispatch call log between 3:44 and 3:47 p.m., including “shot in the stomach H&M,” “2 rounds to the chest,” “New Balance shot/bleeding in lower back,” “Watch Station/Victim shot,” “Patient in Ralph Lauren having a panic attack or a heart attack,” and more.At 3:48 p.m., dispatchers notes indicated officers were taking multiple victims to ambulances for treatment.
The May 6 shooting was first reported about 3:36 p.m. It took less than a minute for an ambulance to begin to make its way to the scene. 2/
