To celebrate Safety and Health Week, which will be held this year from May 1 to 6, CCOHS is offering free virtual events.

Safety and Health Week is an ideal time for employers, employees, partners, and the public to focus on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community, states a CCOHS release. On Monday, May 1 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT, there will be a Safety and Health Week 2023 National Launch. CCOHS, the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and Threads of Life will kick off the week with inspirational stories and the announcement of the Focus on Safety National Youth Video Contest winners.
