Disappointed Doug Ford wants Justin Trudeau to expand health-care funding deal

Ford and Ontario Health Minister Sylvia Jones are meeting with her federal Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos and Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc as both sides work toward inking a deal to improve a health-care system strained by the pandemic and a growing and aging population.

“We’re going to sit down today and review it and discuss it with the rest of the premiers,” said Ford. The offer of $46.2 billion more in federal funding for the provinces over 10 years was made Tuesday in Ottawa at a gathering of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and provincial and territorial leaders, and included an immediate $2 billion for overburdened children’s hospitals and emergency rooms.

Neglecting to Mention the BILLIONS UNSPENT by the Ford Govt on Healthcare in the headline is purposeful. New ownership, new ethos, but the framing is getting insulting to those of us with a brain.

FORD HELD BACK 30% of the healthcare funds he had and blew them on 407 highway debt forgiveness NOBODY ASKED FOR license plate fee cancellations and ridiculous highways through protected lands that he subsequently tore up to profit established donors of his party. 30%

Why is Biff disappointed? All he’d do with the money is roll around in it, line the pockets of his goon buddies, or spend it on more useless highways. No one is actually high enough to believe he’ll spend to improve health care are they? If so can I have some?

I am disappointed there are NOT very strong Strings that will force CON Premiers like fordnation to use every penny of Health Funding for Healthcare only!! NOT Misuse it as he has been doing!!
