Michael thanked the public for their incredible support over the last seven days and said he was feeling better and on the road to recovery. Alongside a picture of himself leaving hospital, he wrote: “Thank you to everyone around the world for your love and prayers.In the picture Flatley can be seen clenching his fist as he leaves the hospital.
The news of his cancer diagnosis was announced through social media last Wednesday. It was confirmed that he was dealing with an “aggressive” form of cancer and that he had undergone surgery.A statement said: “Dear friends, we have something personal to share, Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer."No further comments will be made at this time.
