Lord of The Dance star Michael Flatley has revealed he has been released from hospital after undergoing surgery for “aggressive cancer”.
The post said at the time: “Dear friends, we have something personal to share, Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer."No further comments will be made at this time.Alongside the message, the team shared a black and white image of Michael looking out to sea while stood on a beach.
He explained to the Irish Independent at the time: “It was purely by chance that it was noticed. I had never even noticed it...it can be a frightening place to be. “I was diagnosed with skin cancer myself and it was a very scary time. I sympathise with anybody who is lying on that bed and facing the uncertainty of the future. It can be a frightening place.
“I said I was leaving for the airport and would he mind if I called him when I got back? He said, 'no, I need you to come in immediately'.
