The DOH said that it has placed its hospitals on “high alert” for patients with firework-related injuries ahead of the New Year revelries. | zacariansINQ

“Itong darating na papalapit na New Year, lahat ng ating mga hospitals ay naka ‘high alert’ for all individuals with injuries and emergencies na posibleng mangyari,” said DOH officer-in-charge and Undersecretary Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire in a written response

to reporters on Saturday.“Ang DOH naman po ay mag iikot sa mga hospitals natin upang siguraduhin na handa ang mga pasilidad at emergency rooms sa potential na pagdalo ng mga firework-related injuries or any form of emergency para sa ating mga kababayan,” she added.
