ADHD in women: Symptoms develop in childhood, but the signs are often missed

ADHD symptoms can vary widely, but young girls with the disorder tend to be more inattentive and distracted than hyperactive and impulsive. Research from theshows that boys ages 3 to 7 are more than twice as likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than girls.
